How To Install the HypeDocs Slack Bot

This is a step-by-step guide that shows you how to install the HypeDocs Slack App to your teams Slack Workspace.

1. Select which public channel you want to add HypeDocs into. This could be an existing or new channel. Teams often use channel names like #hypes or #wins

2. Go to the Settings page and click on Add Integration

2. Select "Slack" from the integrations list. We'll be adding more integrations soon.

3. Select "My Team" so that your whole team can have access to the Slack App. If you select "Myself", then the Slack App will still be installed, but your teammates would have to create their own accounts instead of being a part of your organization.

4. Once the Slack Permissions screen loads, check in the top right corner to make sure you're installing it into the right Slack Workspace. After this, clcik the green allow button to proceed.

5. You'll be redirected to the HypeDocs Settings screen. Here you can select the Slack Channel you'd like HypeDocs to be accessible in - in this case we're selecting the #hypes channel.

6. That's it - you're done! Head on over to your Slack Workspace and start using HypeDocs now!
